James Palma is an architect and photographer located in Miami.

His photographs have won numerous awards and have been included in several exhibitions. They are in several corporate and private collections. He has designed and published more than 25 books and has made numerous live presentations of his different subjects.

His photographic portfolio is broad, displaying a skill across a variety of themes. The main theme is photographic art of the built environment. His work also includes studies of details in Italian memorial sculpture that demonstrates an uncommonly delicate vision, in contrast to the hard-edge, polished, bold expression of his architectural photography.

As an architect he has more than 35 years of experience in the fields of architecture, urban design and interior design. He has completed numerous large scale projects for the U. S. General Services Administration, Miami-Dade County and various other clients. He served as senior project manager for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Miami International Airport Terminal and the Frost Museum of Science.​
